Role Overview
We are looking for a qualified MBBS Doctor registered with the West Bengal Medical Council to serve as our Supervising and Advisory Doctor on a monthly retainer basis.
This is a strictly remote, advisory position. There are no home visits, no direct patient treatments, and no prescribing responsibilities. You will work directly with our Nursing and Care Manager to review care plans, confirm medical documentation, and advise on clinical protocols.
Because this is an independent retainership, you retain full freedom to continue your private practice hospital duties, or other professional engagements.

Key Responsibilities
• Care Plan Approvals: Review and approve initial patient care plans remotely to confirm that requested care falls within NityaKare’s monitoring-and-maintenance scope.
• Prescription Verification: Confirm that a valid prescription from the patient's primary treating doctor is on file prior to any nursing injection services (Strict Policy: No prescription, no injection).
• Clinical Guidance & Advice: Remain available during service hours to guide the Nurse and Care Coordinator on borderline or unclear patient cases.
• Vitals & Log Review: Periodically review patient vitals logs and visit records, flagging any condition changes that warrant referral back to the patient's primary treating doctor.
• Scope & Escalation Authority: Act as the final authority on determining whether a patient's needs exceed NityaKare's home-care scope. Provide remote advice during emergency escalations (primary emergency response is always ambulance dispatch).
• Protocol Sign-off: Review and sign off on NityaKare’s clinical protocols and standards.
