Phlebotomist

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our diagnostic and laboratory team. The ideal candidate should have experience in blood sample collection, patient interaction, specimen handling, and maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.

The Phlebotomist will play a key role in ensuring accurate specimen collection and supporting laboratory operations while delivering an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities

1. Collect blood samples using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
2. Verify patient identity and explain the sample collection procedure.
3. Label, process, and transport specimens accurately.
4. Follow infection control and biomedical waste management protocols.
5. Maintain patient comfort and confidentiality during procedures.
6. Prepare collection equipment and maintain inventory.
7. Coordinate with laboratory staff for timely sample processing.
8. Record patient information accurately in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
9. Ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards and safety guidelines.
10. Assist with health check-up camps and home sample collection when required.
