Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology Internship

This internship program is designed to help students gain practical exposure to operation theatre and anaesthesia department workflows in professional hospital environments.

Interns can develop an understanding of the complete perioperative workflow, including patient preparation, operation theatre readiness, surgical equipment management, sterilization and infection-control procedures, surgical team coordination, anaesthesia support, and post-operative patient transfer.

Students may gain exposure to surgeons, anaesthesiologists, OT technicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, helping them understand the critical role of OT and anaesthesia professionals in safe and efficient surgical care.

Depending on the candidate's qualification, training level, institutional policies, and applicable regulations, interns may receive supervised exposure to appropriate clinical and technical activities.
